About DIY Flower Buckets

Price: Buckets are $100 each and are available during the height of our growing season from June through September.

Contents: Buckets include a mix of focal flowers, accent flowers and foliage. Here are some of the flowers we grow:

Colors: Your bucket will be filled with a selection of Farmer's Choice flowers, which means bloom colors might be soft and subtle or bold and bright, or a mix of both color palettes. Because flower varieties change as the season progresses, and we select only the highest quality, most vibrant blooms at harvest time, buckets will vary from day to day and week to week. Custom buckets: If you need a specific color palette, and we have your colors available, we will fill your bucket with flowers that fit your style. Custom buckets are $130.

Stem count: Florals come in a 10" bucket containing 50-70 stems. The exact number of stems will depend on the size and value of the flowers. In early summer, when flowers are slender and have that wildflower look, expect closer to 70 stems.When sunflowers and giant zinnias are in bloom, and flowers are larger, expect closer to 50 stems.

Fulfillment: Farm pick up is available on Fridays and Saturdays between 8 AM and 10 AM. Delivery is available within a 35 mile radius from the farm for an added $50 fee on orders $300+.​​ If you need your flowers on a day other than Friday or Saturday, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your request. ​

How to Book: We book a limited number of bulk bucket orders per weekend, after our CSA subscriptions have been fulfilled. Please email us to reserve your bucket(s) at least two weeks before your event. Full payment is required to book. We do not offer refunds on buckets as we are harvesting flowers specifically for you and your event. Please plan accordingly. ​​
How many buckets will I need?
Depending on your style and the occasion, one bucket will typically give you enough flowers to create:

4-5 Mason jar arrangements, or

1 large bridal bouquet, or

3 petite bridesmaid bouquets, or
-
15-20 bud vase arrangements, or
-
2 large centerpieces, or
-
A bouquet bar for 6 guests.

How do I care for my flowers?

Locally grown flowers can last for a week or more if given proper care. However, we recommend picking up your bucket(s) within 2 days of your event for best presentation.

Flowers should be stored in a cool, dark place and never in freezing temperatures or in direct sunlight.

We do not recommend storing your flowers in a refrigerator.

Keep fresh flowers away from fruit as they produce ethylene, a natural plant hormone that significantly hinders the quality and longevity of cut flowers.

Always keep your flowers in water.
