FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Below you will find frequently asked questions about our farm. If you still have questions, please contact us!

Bouquet CSAs & Subscriptions
What exactly is a Bouquet CSA?
Think of it as a subscription to the seasons. By buying your share upfront, you’re helping us buy seeds and prep the soil in the winter. In return, you get a regular share of the absolute freshest, peak-season blooms grown right here in Cottonwood. It’s the ultimate way to keep fresh color on your table all season long.

What if I’m out of town during a pickup week?
Flowers don’t wait, but friends sure love them! If you can’t make it to your scheduled pickup, we highly recommend sending a neighbor, coworker, or friend to grab your bouquet for you. Any flowers left behind after our pickup window closes will be donated locally to spread a little unexpected sunshine.

Can I choose what specific flowers go into my subscription bouquet?
We let Mother Nature do the designing here! Our farm is 100% field-grown, which means our bouquets change from May to September. You’ll get a beautiful surprise every week, featuring the absolute best of whatever is waking up and blooming on the farm that week.

DIY Flower Buckets
What comes in a DIY Flower Bucket?
Each bucket is packed with 50 to 70 freshly cut stems. We make sure you get a beautiful, balanced mix of focal flowers, supporting blooms, playful textures, and lush green foliage. Everything is harvested fresh, stems cleaned, and deeply hydrated so they are ready for you to arrange.

Can I request exact colors or flower varieties?
While we can’t promise specific varieties, we can absolutely work within broad color palettes—like "warm sunset vibes" or "soft, cool pastels" or "bold and beautiful." Just let us know the feeling you're going for, and we’ll harvest the best match the field has to offer, if available.

How far in advance do I need to order DIY buckets?
The earlier the better so we can plan our field rows! We ask for at least 3 days notice, but prefer a couple weeks. This gives us enough time to properly plan the harvest and ensure your blooms are perfectly conditioned and drinking deeply before they head home with you.

Dried Flowers & Everlasting Blooms
Do you ship your dried flower arrangements?
Right now, we love keeping things close to home. Our dried florals are available in the Cottonwood/Redding area at our seasonal pop-ups and events.

How long do dried flowers last, and how do I care for them?
They can last for years if you treat them right! To keep your flowers looking lovely, keep them out of direct sunlight (which fades their natural colors) and away from high-humidity spots like bathrooms. And the golden rule: absolutely no water!

Where to Find Our Blooms?

Do you have a flower stand on the farm?
We don’t have a physical stand here at the farm! To keep things simple while I'm out working in the field, we bring the flowers straight to you through a few of our favorite local spots and markets instead.
Where can I buy your flowers around town?
You can grab our fresh, field-grown bundles a few different ways:
-
Every Week: I deliver fresh, seasonal bouquets weekly to The Bean right here in Cottonwood. You can grab a delicious coffee and a beautiful bundle of blooms all in one stop!
-
1st & 3rd Sundays (June through October): Come see us in person at the Cottonwood Certified Farmers Market! I love catching up with neighbors and bringing the best of our farm to town.
-
Our Favorite Seasonal Events: We love a good market celebration! You can find us at Roses & Rust every Spring and Fall, as well as Fall on Front Street right here in Cottonwood when autumn rolls around.
